HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL in Sauk Centre, MN has classroom teaching positions available for the 2024-25 school year.

SUMMARY: Creates a classroom environment which fosters learning, personal and spiritual growth; motivates pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an excellent education.
- Follow the policies, guidelines, and procedures of Holy Family School and the Diocese of St. Cloud.
- Develops lesson plans and instructional materials; and provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
- Teaches school-approved curriculum.
- Conform to, teach, and abide by the moral teachings of the Roman Catholic Church when performing as an employee and to spread God’s word in our words and actions.
- Identifies pupil needs, makes appropriate referrals, and develops strategies for individual intervention plans.
- Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the student.
- Maintains a professional day, as defined by school/and work agreement.
- Communicates regularly with parents by means of newsletters, notes, phone calls, e-mails, conferences, etc.
- Assists with planning and coordinating the work of paraprofessionals and volunteers in the classroom and on field trips.
- Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors, and contributes positively to a collaborative school environment
- Maintains and improves professional skills by participating in building and grade-level meetings, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars to stay current with best teaching practices.
- Promotes and supports the overall mission of the school and Diocese by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with the public and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
- Maintain accurate records, grade book, and data tracking systems
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
